Overview

The role of Kundalini Dance Facilitator is likened to the ancient role of priest and priestess, where we share keys to connect participants to source energy and eventually come to hold space for deep karmic layers of opening inspiring participants to radiate their true ecstatic nature.

The training process requires a deep level of commitment to ones personal transformation. The trainee/initiate is required to embody a quality of ego surrender in ones dance practice and be courageous in facing and become intimately aware of the tricks ones ego plays to stay in power. One must be ready to strip the veils of ones personality cloaks whilst facilitating and become an empty vessel for the alchemical union of divine mother and divine father. So that the trained facilitator is able to embody and transmit the “Kundalini Dance” body of work in its alchemical integrity, by the completion of level one of ones training.

The Kundalini Dance Facilitator Training in Canada consists of three modules and extends over a year.

Module One of the training involves an in depth transmission of  how to facilitate the keys and tools of Kundalini Dance. And is  preperation for the next phase of the training.

The next phase involves three months of practical application in facilitating workshops and self motivated study. Trainees will set up their own 8-week Kundalini Dance practicum courses focusing on one chakra per week. On line support through our KD trainees website/online forum will be provided throughout this period. Trainees will be required to complete 22 hrs of teaching. Student feedback questionnaires will be provided and need to be submitted as part of the final assessment. You will be required to complete two written assignments before the end of the training.

The next part of the training  - Module 2 - will involve a seven day retreat involving more integration of KD mapping and advanced facilitation skills.

After Module 2 - Trainees will teach another 8 week series to integrate what is learned in Module 2.   After finishing their second practicum, the group will meet for a non-residential completion weekend (Module 3).


Course materials include the Kundalini Dance Facilitators' Manual and Chakra music CD. Each KD facilitators contact information will be included in the central KD site to promote your workshops.

At the successful completion of all three phases the trainees will receive a completion certificate of Kundalini Dance Level 1 Facilitator Training. This will legally entitle you to teach under the Kundalini Dance trade mark and be licensed to teach under the guidelines laid out in the license. The Kundalini Dance Facilitator License must be renewed each year through ongoing professional and personal development.

Participation in this training does not automatically qualify one as a Kundalini Dance Facilitator. Qualification as a Kundalini Dance facilitator requires one to embody the keys at the core of this work and to be fully committed to ones personal transformation. There are no failures, some participants may require a longer time period to embody the work and complete the necessary assignments either personal or professional. This training is a deep initiation into ones inner shamanic soul, awakening the priest and priestess archetypes within our cellular memory. It is a journey of awakening and empowerment, where you are aligned into your core life purpose as leader, shaman, priest, priestess and healer.

Course Outline

Kundalini Dance – Sacred Alchemical Transformation

Module 1 – May 6th – 14th

This stage of the training is a seven - day process where we focus on the experiential study of the mapping and presentation of eight sacred alchemical chakra dance sessions, to be presented by the trainee / initiate as an eight week class series directly after this retreat. 

We will study the process of presenting a sacred alchemical dance session for each of the eight main chakras.

We will cover topics that are relevant to that study

·       The process of Transformational Alchemy

·       Structures of Human Consciousness

·       Chakra Psychology

·       Technologies of Ecstasy

·       Facilitating Altered states of Consciousness

·       Pranic Breath work

·       Mapping sacred alchemical transformational dance sessions

·       Group Facilitation Skills – developing group trust

·       Music Selection, Collection and Technology 

Each participant will be required to map and present a one-hour sacred alchemical dance session at the Module 1 retreat. Each participant will spend one hour prior to this initial presentation with Leyolah and Luna prior to ones initial practical presentation. Kaitlyn will also be available for support with mapping and embodiment of alchemical energy keys. Each participant will receive group feedback post session. 

Practicum

Each participant is required to go and teach eight sequential sacred alchemical chakra dance workshops.  Focusing on one chakra per week over an eight - week period. Classes will be a maximum of one and half hours in length.

The trainee will be required to set up a dance group in ones local community as a practical experience. This will be taught on a non - profit basis, with adequate communication to participants that you are in training and are not yet qualified. Each student will be required to give direct feedback to ones trainers about the experience. 

All trainees will be required to submit one written account of ones personal transformational dance journey. 

Module 2 - Nov 10 - 18/09

This retreat will be another 7 - day retreat (can be shorter depending on size of the group)

All participants will be required to present another one-hour sacred alchemical chakra dance journey. Trainees are required to display an adequate embodiment of the basic sacred alchemical map.

Trainees will be required to present via email before the module 2 training commences an overview of ones experience of teaching the practicum. At this training we will explore and embody other tools for the toolbox. Extending ones repertoire of exercises and techniques for teaching specific chakra classes and creating group intimacy.

Trainees will be prepared to go and teach an eight-week series with classes 2.5 hours in duration.

Consecration ceremony

Module 3 – May 2010 (two day training - dates to be advised)

After teaching ones first eight - week series as a qualified Kundalini Dance Facilitator who is eligible to charge participants for classes. You will be required to come to a two-day training. This will be the final training for you to be fully qualified and receive your level one certificate. The purpose of this training is to further refine ones facilitation skills and to check in that you are transmitting the work is in its highest integrity.  

A dedicated website for trainees with class structures to download, information updates and an online forum will be created for trainees use at any time. The purpose of the website will be to support our ongoing communication, and the development and refinement of the work. Also to support the creation a global dance network aimed at supporting the collective awakening of humanity.

Course Pre-requisites

We are looking for spiritually aware individuals who have a commitment to their own personal growth and a passion for supporting positive change and transformation in their local and global community.

**The pre-requisites to the training is to complete TWO (2) residential "Awakening" retreats that are designed to give participants an in intensive personal growth experience that will enable them to deeply embody the Kundalini Dance work.

We are looking for trainees who are interested in an ongoing personal journey using the Kundalini Dance tools and keys and deepening in their personal practice, a deep inner commitment to thier personal growth and development and the full embodiment of these tools. Its from this place of deep personal commitment and embodient of this work that one can share it with others. Refund Policy

• If the student withdraws 28 days or more prior to the course commencement, the student will receive a refund of the course fee balance minus an administration fee of $100.
• If the student withdraws 15 - 27 days or over prior to the course commencement, the student will receive a refund of 75% of the course fee balance.
• If the student withdraws 5 - 14 days prior to the course commencement, the student will receive a refund of 50% of the course balance.
• If the student withdraws 1 - 4 days prior to the course commencement, the student will receive no refund.
